How to use Third Party Rejection in 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform
By using 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform with Custom Integration, you'll be able to screen clicks and conversions in a very effective way thanks to over 40 customizable filters.
In some specific cases, this is not enough and our partners need to match the results (approved or rejected) with the Advertiser’s response and, eventually, forward it to the Affiliate in real time.
This is where the Third Party Rejections come in.
When is this feature needed?
This feature will allow you to pass into 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform the rejection from a third party and match the response of your Advertisers.
How do I set it up?
Using the Postback URL generated with your integration (conversion setup), you can pass into 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform a third party rejection, including the Clickid and the Reason if sent by the advertiser.
For reasons explained later in this article, it is ideal to also pass the Click ID and the Affiliate ID for each conversion. It will come in handy if you want to send the response to the affiliate as well using always 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform.
Last step, activate the filter
Once the postback is mapped and set on your side, go to the filter group related to your current integration and from the conversion filters section, activate Third Party Rejection filter. From this point on, any conversion rejected by the Advertiser/Platform etc will also be reflected in 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform.
Do you want to reject those conversions for the affiliates as well?
In addition the "third party rejection", thanks to the Postback Manager feature, you can set the Affiliate postback and send the response directly from 24Metrics AdSecurity Platform with Status (any, approved, rejected), Reason, etc. Check this article to and find out how to Set the postback manager.
